Konoko moves

Defense & Basic moves

Back

Defense:

Block:

Stand facing your opponent and you will block most of the attacks. However, there are also unblockable attacks like Barabas' Earthquaker. In this case you should better use one of following dodge moves.

Dodges:

You can roll and dodge in all directions to avoid attacks. Just press shift and a direction key to perform a roll. This picture on the left shows the more effective version of the backward roll. While in a roll you can pick up items and weapons.

Slide:

While running you can press shift to make Konoko go into a slide. With this move you can knock your opponents off their feet and also pick up hypos, ammo or weapons without stopping.

Basic moves:

Moves that are the same for all characters. These include punches, kicks, runing punches and kicks and jumpkicks. However, there are also some moves that differ from character to character.

Stomache Jab:

Konoko lowers herself and thrusts with her fist forward, punching the enemy into the stomache, usually knocking them down.

Press shift and punch.

Leg sweep:

A quick leg sweep, from left to right as opposed to the normal sweep from right to left. It is slightly faster than the normal sweep.

Press shift and kick simultaenously.

Backward Flipkick

While retreating from an enemy, press kick. Surprise your opponents with a kick into their teeth. A nice looking escape move, but some of the enemies will simply hit you sooner than you can hit them.

Running backwards press kick

Jump roll:

Konoko rolls while in the air. This move can be used for either jumping a bit higher so that you can reach a higher ledge, or to stomp on someone's head. Another great thing that I found out is that if you jump from a bigger height you won't hurt youself as much if you do a jumproll and hit someone below. Great for taking shortcuts at the airport.

In mid-air press shift for a roll.
